At Kingdom Rock, kids discover how to stand strong for God! Kingdom Rock is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Sciency-Fun experiments, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the royally rockin’ activities that help faith flow into real life. We will help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life- something we call God Sightings.
Each day, leaders reinforce one simple Bible truth- which makes it super easy for kids to remember and apply to real life!
Day 1: God’s love helps us stand strong!
“I love you, Lord; you are my strength.” Psalm 18:1
Day 2: Family and friends help us stand strong.
“So encourage each other and build each other up.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Day 3: Prayer helps us stand strong.
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.” Philippians 4:6
Day 4: Trusting God helps us stand strong.
“Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.” Isaiah 26:4
Day5: The Bible helps us stand strong.
“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” Psalm 119:105

PURPOSE
Awaken Children's Ministry at Christ Church exists to awaken the heart of children to the heart of God. We seek to glorify God by leading the children through the Word of God, equipping them to share the Word of God, and serve all peoples through the love of Christ. We also seek to awaken the role of parents as the spiritual leaders of their children and seek to awaken the church in their roles of community in the body of Christ.
PRESCHOOL (NEWBORN – 5 YRS)
The Nursery, Toddler and Preschool Ministry is available during all worship gatherings. It is our desire to come alongside parents in nurturing the faith of their children. Our responsibility is to model and teach Biblical truth in an attitude of frequent prayer, spiritual atmosphere, Biblical and God-centered storytelling and worship.
The Preschool Rooms are divided into sections: Babies (Room 222), Toddlers (Room 224), and 3 & 4 year olds (Room 226). Parents of preschoolers must check in their children at the check in desk at the front of the preschool hallway next to the worship center (this is an important way that ensures we keep your children safe).
CHILDREN'S CHURCH (8:15 & 10:45)
Children's Church is offered during both worship experiences. During this time, the Preschool Ministry utilizes a curriculum entitled First Look, which gives children a first impression of their heavenly Father and the wonder of His love for each one of them. This is a fun curriculum that includes fun songs and activities.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School takes place from 9:30-10:30. During this time, the Preschool Ministry utilizes a curriculum entitled The Gospel Project for preschoolers in which they walk through the Bible with great hands-on activities and songs!

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
The 2 & 3 year olds have an opportunity to sing simple songs and hear Bible stories as well as enjoy snack time, game time, and prayer time. They will be walking through Bible Stories utilizing The Jesus Storybook Bible
http://www.jesusstorybookbible.com/. The 4 & 5 year olds have the opportunity to participate in a Cherub Choir on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30. This time includes singing, snack time, game time, and prayer time.
KIDS (1ST – 5TH GRADERS)
From Bible study to music to missions to special events and summer programs, this is an amazing place to start a relationship with Christ and grow strong in the faith. It is our desire to provide children with a time that is biblically relevant to their lives and fun at the same time. We want to raise a generation of kids who become passionate about Him and the Word, become fully devoted followers of Christ, and carry on the discipleship process as teens and adults. We believe the most important spiritual leaders in a child's life are their parents. As parents model a lifestyle of worship and Bible study, kids will see how important it is to make disciples. It is our desire to come alongside parents to aid in this process.
In age-graded small groups, we stress relationship building between the kids and their teachers. Our teachers intentionally shepherd children by modeling Christ's love and providing activities that are applicable to the lives of today's kids.
Children meet in the Kids Fellowship Center, but parents check them in at the Awaken Check-in Point in the lobby (this is an important way that ensures we keep your children safe!).
CHILDREN'S CHURCH (8:15& 10:45)
During both worship experiences, the kids gather in the Kids Fellowship Center. During this large group time, in addition to small group time, we teach scriptural truths in a kid-friendly way through drama, praise, and worship. SUNDAY SCHOOL
From 9:30-10:30, we use The Gospel Project, which is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before! Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
Kids gather in the Kids Fellowship Center beginning at 6:00 through 7:30. During this time, the children participate in Children’s Choir followed by Bible study with games and activities.
